Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland entered their match against Cedartown on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Woodland Wildcats took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedartown Bulldogs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Cedartown, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cedartown beat Woodland by a score of 5-4 on Friday.
