Baseball Recap: Lumpkin County Takes a Loss

Lumpkin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the North Hall Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 last Tuesday.

Lumpkin County's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for North Hall, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

While Lumpkin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
