Recap: Eagle Rock Eagles vs. Wilson Mules
The Eagle Rock Eagles won against the Wilson Mules last Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Eagle Rock blew past Wilson 52-22 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-13.
Eagle Rock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alina Albuja, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Albuja has scored all season. Haylee Weatherspoon was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Eagle Rock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Wilson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Rock will take on Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bravo is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Wilson, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Marshall is ranked 807th, while Wilson is ranked 818th).
