The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Ava Simpson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
