Softball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks.

Northridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Naomi Propes, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Northridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will face off against Severance at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Silver Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Red-Tailed Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
