Basketball Recap: Front Range Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Zach Woo and Ethan Martin

Front Range Christian lost against Lyons back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Front Range Christian Falcons came up short against the Lyons Lions, falling 76-53. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Front Range Christian had strong showings from Ethan Martin, who posted ten points and five rebounds, and Zach Woo, who put up 11 points.

Leading Lyons to victory were Zeke Paznokas and Caleb Christiansen. Paznokas went 13 of 27 en route to 36 points and six boards, while Christiansen dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. Christiansen's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jake LaCrosse was another key player, putting up two points and three steals.

Front Range Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lyons, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Front Range Christian will square off against Denver Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Front Range Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lyons, they will challenge Dawson School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lyons has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three matches.
