Football Recap: Almeta Crawford Piles Up the Points Against Royal

While Almeta Crawford put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Royal. The Chargers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Falcons 55-0. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Among those leading the charge was Braylen Fisher, who threw for 109 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Alvin Mosley was in the mix too, providing Almeta Crawford with two TDs.

Almeta Crawford has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points this season. As for Royal, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Almeta Crawford and Royal could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Chargers (ranked 410th) will meet Bellville (ranked 75th) at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. Meanwhile, Royal will face off against Navasota at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th with a big rank disadvantage (613 vs. 242).
