After having lost a blowout in their previous game against O'Neill, Boone Central was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays by a score of 8-5. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Bluejays on Saturday, they had to take a 10-0 loss.

Boone Central let Katelyn Curry and Adelade Kunzman run wild. Curry went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Kunzman went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Kunzman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Braylee Young, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Boone Central's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-11.

Coincidentally, Boone Central and Guardian Angels Central Catholic will both be playing St. Cecilia the next time they take the field. The Bluejays will host the Bluehawks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
