Soccer Recap: Gabrielino Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Gabrielino and Riverside Prep squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Gabrielino had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Riverside Prep Silver Knights by a score of 2-1.

Gabrielino's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Riverside Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Gabrielino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside Prep, they will challenge Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Riverside Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
