Soccer Recap: Mid-Prairie Takes a Loss

Mid-Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Regina Regals. While losing is never fun, Mid-Prairie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Regina are ranked 47th).

Mid-Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Regina, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2-2.

Coming up, Mid-Prairie will face off against Prince of Peace Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Regina, they will host Cascade at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
