After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paradise Adventist Academy, CORE Butte was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Loyalton Grizzlies 5-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for CORE Butte's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

CORE Butte's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Loyalton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1.

Looking ahead, CORE Butte will challenge Portola at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loyalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
