Soccer Game Preview: Justin-Siena vs. Vintage

The Justin-Siena Braves will square off against the Vintage Crushers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Justin-Siena is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand American Canyon a 14-0 shutout on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Isabella Fernandez as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Vintage hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Casa Grande finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The Crushers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Vintage used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Casa Grande. Molly Clancy played for 80 minutes having averaged 53.3 this season and Maia Goss got 80 vs. an average of 57.9. Goss made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Vintage's draw gives them a new season record of 7-0-5. As for Justin-Siena, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

Justin-Siena might still be hurting after the 6-3 loss they got from Vintage in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Justin-Siena avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
