Baseball Recap: Spalding Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Spalding's offense. They came up short against the Mary Persons Bulldogs on Friday, falling 10-0. The Jaguars have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Spalding's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Mary Persons, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spalding will take on Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mary Persons, they will challenge Fayette County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
