Football Game Preview: Carroll Academy Rebels vs. Winona Christian Stars

The Carroll Academy Rebels will head out to square off against the Winona Christian Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carroll Academy has given up an average of 29.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Carroll Academy had taken Oak Hill Academy down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Rebels took a blow against the Raiders, falling 44-14. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Winona Christian against North Delta on Friday as the squad secured a 35-6 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Carroll Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Winona Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Carroll Academy and Winona Christian were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but Carroll Academy came up empty-handed after a 13-12 defeat. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
