The Valwood Valiants will head out to square off against the Terrell Academy Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Valwood managed to slip by Tiftarea Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Valiants lost 12-1 to the Panthers on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Valiants couldn't push the score so high this time.

Valwood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karstyn Hamby, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Terrell Academy gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past Stratford Academy 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Terrell Academy.

Terrell Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Valwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Valwood might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from Terrell Academy when the teams last played back in September. Can the Valiants avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
