Soccer Recap: Kell Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Kell had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Etowah on Friday. The Longhorns blew past the Eagles 4-0. Winning may never get old, but Kell sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

They hit Etowah with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brandon Graham (2), Sean Canaday, and Gabe Dias Fernandes.

Kell pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five matches. As for Etowah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Kell will face off against Dalton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dalton's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Kell's offense will have their work cut out for them. Etowah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
