Soccer Game Preview: Central City Value vs. USC-MAE

The Central City Value Jaguars will take on the USC-MAE Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Central City Value and four for USC-MAE.

Last Friday, Central City Value didn't have quite enough to beat Orthopaedic and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, USC-MAE managed to keep up with Animo Bunche until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. USC-MAE lost 4-1 to Animo Bunche. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1039th, while the Stallions are ranked 493rd).

Central City Value's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for USC-MAE, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Central City Value beat USC-MAE by a goal when the teams last played back in January, winning 2-1. Does Central City Value have another victory up their sleeve, or will USC-MAE turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
