Loganville has gone 8-2 against Apalachee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Devils will take on the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Loganville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Loganville's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Madison County.

Apalachee came out on top against Clarke Central on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Wildcats blew past the Gladiators 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Julianne Greeson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Dezyiah Wells was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Askew, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Apalachee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .621. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Loganville's record now sits at 20-2. As for Apalachee, their record is now 9-11.

Everything went Loganville's way against Apalachee in their previous meeting back in September, as Loganville made off with a 10-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
