Softball Recap: Oelwein Comes Up Short

Oelwein fell victim to Jesup and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the J-Hawks. The Huskies have struggled against the J-Hawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Oelwein's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Jesup, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oelwein beat the J-Hawks by a score of 6-3 later that day.
