Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Wilson

The Lincoln Tigers will face off against the Wilson Mules at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lincoln is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Marshall on Wednesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Barristers by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Bravo. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Wilson it sure didn't stay that way.

Lincoln now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Lincoln skirted past Wilson 3-2 when the teams last played back in December of 2025. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Mules have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
