Softball Recap: Crawford County Takes a Loss

Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Jones County Greyhounds.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Jones County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Crawford County is taking a road trip to square off against Crisp County at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jones County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dodge County at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
