Soccer Recap: Greenbrier Starts Season with Victory at Home

Greenbrier gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Harlem Bulldogs 1-0. Kyle Rodgers had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Wolfpack got from the refs.

Looking ahead, Greenbrier will take on Midtown in a tournament on Friday. As for Harlem, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Baldwin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
