Basketball Recap: Littlerock Comes Up Short

Littlerock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Knight Hawks, falling 64-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-18 back in December of 2024.

Knight's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kailah Holley, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 13 points. Faye Iraheta was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Littlerock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Knight, their record is now 7-11.

Littlerock will challenge Quartz Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Littlerock is facing Quartz Hill at the right time seeing as Quartz Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Knight, they will head out to take on Eastside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
