Softball Recap: Gilmer Bobcats vs. Trion Bulldogs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilmer). They came out on top against the Trion Bulldogs by a score of 6-2 on Saturday.

Lily Fortune spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
