Soccer Recap: Hardin County Starts Season with Win on the Road

Hardin County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Scotts Hill Lions a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. It was an even better day for Hailey Shoemaker as she scored three goals for her team.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hardin County will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Adamsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scotts Hill, they will welcome McKenzie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
