Golden got themselves on the board against Wheat Ridge on Tuesday, but Wheat Ridge never followed suit. They blew past the Farmers 10-0. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Adrianna Riddle made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in October of 2024.

In other batting news, Daely Peterson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Reagan Smith, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Golden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wheat Ridge only posted an OBP of .143.

Golden pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Wheat Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11-1.

Golden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-2 victory against Conifer on the 1st. As for Wheat Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-3 defeat against Green Mountain on the 1st.
