Softball Recap: D'evelyn's Run of Ten Straight Victories Now Over

D'Evelyn dropped down to 19-4 on Friday, ending the team's ten-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Golden Demons by a score of 4-3. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Demons earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Calista Hinestroza made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

As for Golden, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games.

On Golden's side, Adrianna Riddle made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off nine hits. Riddle was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

In other batting news, Molli Nath was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Peyton Tateyama, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

As of now, neither D'Evelyn nor Golden have any future games scheduled.
