Baseball Recap: Calera Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

While Calera put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Caney. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won five games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Calera, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Caney, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Calera has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 victory against Coalgate on the 27th. As for Caney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Haworth on the 27th.
