Soccer Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

While it was King's Academy who put the first points on the board on Thursday, it was Presentation who put up more. The King's Academy Knights fell just short of the Presentation Panthers by a score of 3-2. The loss leaves the Knights without a win on the season.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Presentation, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

After both having extra time off, King's Academy and Willow Glen will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025. King's Academy's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Presentation and Leigh will compete for holiday cheer at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Leigh will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Presentation surely won't give up without a fight.
