Softball Recap: Thompson Valley Eagles vs. Prairie View Thunderhawks

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thompson Valley). They came out on top against the Prairie View Thunderhawks by a score of 14-9 on Saturday. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Lilly Reed made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Reed was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Thompson Valley let Madison Leyba and Lilah Aschenbrenner run wild. Leyba got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Aschenbrenner went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
