Soccer Recap: Del Oro Comes Up Short

Del Oro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Arvin Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Suns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on January 10th.

Del Oro's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-4. As for Arvin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Oro will face off against Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Foothill's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Arvin, they will take on Golden Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arvin will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
