Basketball Recap: Eastlake Wolves vs. Skyline Spartans
The Eastlake Wolves entered their tilt with the Skyline Spartans with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Eastlake took down the Spartans 55-36 on Monday. Given Eastlake's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Spartans are ranked 199th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tatum Wood continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Sofia Aluas, who scored nine points along with seven steals and five rebounds.
Eastlake's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. As for Skyline, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Eastlake will be playing at home against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bothell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Monday. Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
