Baseball Recap: Exeter Takes a Loss

If Exeter was feeling good fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Hurley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 6-2 to the Billings Wildcats on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on May 1st.

Exeter has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for Billings, they pushed their record up to 11-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Exeter nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
