Basketball Recap: Jordan Dever's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rim of the World over Notre Dame

Rim of the World was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 42-24 bruising from the Notre Dame Titans. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1301st, while the Titans are ranked 597th).

Rim of the World lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jordan Dever, who posted 15 points.

Rim of the World's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Notre Dame, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Jurupa Hills the next time they take the court. Notre Dame will head out to face Jurupa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Rim of the World will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
