Softball Recap: Crawford County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Crawford County extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 4-3. They blew past the Rutland Hurricanes 25-15. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

As for Rutland, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. On the bright side, the 15- run effort marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

For Rutland's part, Adrianna Kadian made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those RBI marked the first that Kadian has brought in this season. Addison Payne was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Crawford County is taking a road trip to take on Taylor County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rutland, they will welcome Howard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
