It was a good run, but Ware County unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Peach County Trojans, falling 12-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gators have suffered since February 26th.

Ware County's defeat dropped their record down to 20-2. As for Peach County, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Ware County and Peach County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Gators (ranked sixth) will meet Benedictine (ranked 100th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Peach County will challenge Dougherty at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (62 vs. 245).
