Softball Recap: Brush Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Brush won against Bennett on Friday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Beetdiggers blew past the Eagle Valley Devils 15-6. The Beetdiggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jolie Tuck, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Izabella Talmich, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Brush kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.

Brush's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Eagle Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-2.

Brush didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Erie on the 13th. As for Eagle Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 22-8 victory against Bennett on the 13th.
