Soccer Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Morse

Morse hadn't done well against San Ysidro recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Morse Tigers put the hurt on the San Ysidro Cougars with a sharp 6-0 win. It was an even better day for Melany Perez as she scored five goals for her team.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Morse, bringing their record for this year to 10-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six games. As for San Ysidro, they now have a losing record at 7-8-1.

Looking ahead, Morse will challenge Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Morse knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
