Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hudson). Their defense stepped up to hand the Tripoli Panthers a 13-0 shutout on Friday. Considering Hudson have won ten contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hudson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-0-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 72 goals over those 14 games. As for Tripoli, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coming up, Hudson will take on Gladbrook-Reinbeck at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Hudson have won nine straight at home, while Gladbrook-Reinbeck won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Tripoli, they will venture away from home to face off against Clayton-Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Clayton-Ridge will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Tripoli surely won't give up without a fight.
