Soccer Recap: Animo South Los Angeles Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Animo Watts Warriors and fell 4-3. Heidy Avila probably wasn't too happy after the game: she scored every single goal for the Panthers and still walked away on the losing team.

This is the second loss in a row for Animo South Los Angeles and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Animo Watts, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Animo South Los Angeles didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against George Washington Prep on the 9th. Animo Watts has also already played their next contest, a 14-0 win against Magnolia Science Academy Carson on the 9th.
