Soccer Recap: Rancho Mirage Comes Up Short

Rancho Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Xavier Prep Saints, falling 4-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on January 6th.

Rancho Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Xavier Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.

Rancho Mirage will take on Palm Desert at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Xavier Prep, they will face off against Shadow Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Shadow Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
