Softball Recap: Solon Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Solon and Center Point-Urbana have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Spartans had just enough and edged out the Stormin' Pointers 6-5. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Stormin' Pointers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Solon pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Center Point-Urbana, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-12.
