Soccer Game Preview: Roswell vs. Hobbs

The Roswell Coyotes are taking a road trip to face off against the Hobbs Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Roswell didn't have quite enough to beat Clovis and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Hobbs faced Rio Grande in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Ravens by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Hobbs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Hobbs, they moved to 11-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Roswell might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Hobbs when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
