Baseball Game Preview: Prout Crusaders vs. Ponaganset Chieftains

The Prout Crusaders will square off against the Ponaganset Chieftains at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Prout is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Prout fell victim to West Warwick and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wizards, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ponaganset, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Rogers 17-3 on Monday. The Chieftains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Prout's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Ponaganset, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-6.
