Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was the 6-2 winner over Gordon Lee when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Heritage Generals fell 7-3 to the Gordon Lee Trojans on Saturday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Gordon Lee, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will welcome Gilmer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Gilmer's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gordon Lee, they will be playing at home against Armuchee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gordon Lee is facing Armuchee at the right time seeing as Armuchee is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
