Softball Recap: Harlan Triumphs

Harlan posted their closest win since June 24, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Shenandoah Mustangs 8-6. For the Cyclones, this counts as revenge for the 9-6 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Harlan and bumps their season record up to 3-18. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Shenandoah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

Harlan has already played their next contest, a 17-4 win against Carroll on the 28th. Shenandoah has also already played their next match (against Creston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
