Softball Recap: Penney's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Penney fell victim to North Platte and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Penney fell to 2-1. As for North Platte, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penney will face off against Trenton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Platte, they will take on Stanberry at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
