It was a proper cat-fight when Ellsworth challenged Minneapolis on Friday. The Bearcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 47-14. Fans of the Bearcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Tucker Goss was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 300 yards and four scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Goss is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 133 every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Carson Jacobs, who rushed for 104 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ellsworth was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 446 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 362 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Ellsworth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jacobs and Jace Thomasson.

Ellsworth's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Minneapolis, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellsworth will square off against Lyons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minneapolis, they will face off against Norton on Friday.
