Oaks Christian found their leader in underclassman Trey Towns Jr., who threw for 209 yards and five touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Schwesinger, who picked up 82 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Oaks Christian's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Hayden Lowe. Oaks Christian got some further help from Christian Knoos: he forced a fumble, made 15 total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended a pass.

Santa Margarita now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Oaks Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
