Santa Fe Catholic extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Tate Darner. The Santa Fe Catholic Hawks came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-56 W against the Evans Trojans thanks in part to Darner, who went 8 for 20 to rack up 23 points and seven rebounds. The game was his ninth in a row with at least 18 points.

Jacob Lackey was another key player, putting up six points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last ten games he's played.

Evans' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arosco Dubois, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Dewayne Dixon, who earned eight points and eight rebounds.

Santa Fe Catholic's record is now 17-8. As for Evans, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
